Serving Homewood, AL
Space-smart decks and screened porches for Homewood’s classic neighborhoods.
Your Local Deck Company
Homewood is known for walkable neighborhoods like Edgewood, Hollywood and West Homewood, with charming older homes on smaller, close-set lots. Every square foot of back yard matters here.
We design Homewood decks and porches to make the most of tight spaces, with smart stair placement, built-in features and layouts that feel open without crowding the yard or the neighbors.
Screened porches are especially popular in Homewood. They turn a small back deck into an extra room you can use from spring through fall.

Local Know-How
Smaller yards and classic homes call for decks that look like they were always there.
Before You Build
On Homewood’s close-set lots, setbacks and neighbors are part of every design. We measure carefully, keep the deck within required distances from property lines, and think about sightlines so your new deck feels private instead of on display.
Privacy screens, built-in planters and well-placed stairs can make a small deck feel much bigger. For many Homewood homes, a screened porch attached to a modest deck gives you two outdoor rooms in the space of one.
FAQ

Setback rules depend on your zoning and lot. We check the requirements for your property during design so your deck is placed correctly before we apply for the permit.
Yes. We build privacy walls, slat screens and planter boxes that block views from neighboring yards while still letting air move through.
